برنامج التنشئة على: الأديان والشأن العام في لبنان يقدّم قسم الدراسات في التلاقي الثقافي في مؤسّسة أديان، برنامجاً أكاديميًّا من عشرة أشهر باللغة العربية بعنوان "الأديان والشأن العام في لبنان"، وذلك مع كبار المتخصّصين، بهدف تعزيز فهم المسائل الدينيّة والعلاقات بين الأديان وموقعها في المجال العام وبخاصةٍ في الإطار اللبناني.    من يستطيع أن يتسجّل؟ هذا البرنامج موجّه إلى طلّاب الجامعات والمهنيّين من مختلف الأعمار والاختصاصات.   لماذا هو قيمة مضافة؟ يكتسب المتابع لهذا البرنامج المقوّمات الضروريّة للوعي والحضور الفعّال والإيجابيّ ضمن مجتمع مختلط ومتنوّع دينيًّا، فتكون قيمة مضافة له في حياته...

Anti Racism Movement will be hosting an info session on discrimination and racism among children at schools and in other circles. The session will be led by Mathilde Coussy, INSAN school coordinator. She will be speaking to us about difference problems and issues faced by foreign children at schools in Lebanon, and how they have tried to work them out as they occurred. She will be giving special focus to the latest issues arising with regards to Syrian children integrating in schools here. We will then open up the discussion for any questions, ideas or initiatives proposed.

This session aims to provide an informal space for discussing the relationship of (in)visible identification (as women, men, LGBT, queer) to the types of political action possible. As such, we aim to discuss how visibility functions politically in Beirut, and how does its gendered manifestation shape the ways in which we choose our political strategies and do politics. To facilitate the discussion, we will touch upon themes such as “coming out”, as well as parts of the “identity politics” versus “queer politics” debate. We’ll do so through reflecting upon the politics of local civil society...
