يوم الأربعاء الماضي تقدّم محامي والدة رولا يعقوب بطلب إعادة تشريح الجثة والكشف عليها من قبل أطبّاء شرعيين متخصّصين بالأنسجة الدماغية لتحديد أسباب الوفاة، ولغاية اليوم لم يُبتّ بهذا الطلب رغم علم الجميع أن بعد فترة قصيرة لا يعود الكشف الطبي يفيد في تحديد أسباب الوفاة، وها هو القاضي يصدر قرار بإخلاء سبيل كرم البازي زوج رلى يعقوب! فهل الاستجابة لطلب إخلاء السبيل اهم من الاستجابة لطلب إعادة الكشف الطبي الذي من شأنه أن يحسم الجدل حول أسباب الوفاة؟ لذلك، لا بد لنا من التحرّك والاعتصام اليوم أمام وزارة العدل في بيروت احتجاجاً على قرار القاضي بإخلاء سبيل كرم البازي زوج رولا يعقوب وإهمال طلب إعادة...

تزامناً مع انعقاد اللجان النيابية المشتركة لمناقشة قانون حماية النساء من العنف الأسري، تدعوكم/نّ منظمة "كفى عنف واستغلال" (كفى) والتحالف الوطني لتشريع حماية النساء من العنف الأسري إلى وقفة في ساحة رياض الصلح يوم الاثنين 22 تموز الساعة 10:30 صباحاً لمتابعة عمل اللجنة ومجريات الجلسة وللتعبير عن رفضنا لأي عرقلة للقانون والمطالبة بإقراره في الجلسة نفسها، وتذكير النواب بالالتزامات التي قطعوها لناحية أخذ الملاحظات التي تقدّم بها التحالف على محمل الجدّ.
