After the great success of the first Cancer Awareness Village organized by Barbara Nassar Association on February 2019, under the Patronage of the Ministry of Public Health and in collaboration with the Hospitals, Universities and NGOs. We are inviting you to participate in our second Cancer Awareness Village 2020.

لما كانت النفايات من اهم المشاكل البيئية التي يعاني اليوم منها لبنان بشكل عام وبالاخص مدينة طرابلس والتي تؤثر سلبا على صحة المواطن، وانطلاقا من واجب المواطن في المساهمة في ادارة النفايات المنزلية، تنظّم اللجنة اللبنانية للبيئة والتنمية المستدامة بالتعاون مع بلدية طرابلس وبدعم من منظمة الصحة العالمية حملة توعية لفرز النفايات من المصدر خلال شهر تشرين الاول 2019 .

كيف يمكننا تغيير الأسلوب القديم في جلسات التدريب والانتقال إلى فعاليات أكثر استدامة؟ ما هو النموذج الذي يجب اعتماده؟ ما هي العقبات والعوامل المساعدة لنجاح المؤسسات؟ ستجيب عبير غطاس، وهي ناشطة لبنانية، ومتخصّصة في مجال الاتصالات الرقمية وتقنية المعلومات، عن هذه السئلة وتناقش مفهوم أمن المؤسسات، وكيفية التدّرب عليه، وكيف يمكن استخدامه داخل مؤسساتنا.

The Lebanese Sociological Association (LSA, supported by the International Sociological Association), in collaboration with Jadaliyya/ASI, Lebanon Support, and the Sociology, Anthropology and Media Studies Department at American University of Beirut (AUB), is organising a two-day workshop on the topic of social movements in the Arab region, with a special focus on two countries that did not directly witness the Arab Uprisings:  Lebanon and Iraq.
