This webinar is to present the research conducted by Nadim Haidar between february and november 2022 in the framework of the centre’s Social Justice Fellowship Programme. By shedding a light on the forms and trajectories of social contention in Morocco and Jordan after 2011, this webinar aims at scrutinizing how the ‘return to the social question’ can help us to better understand the profound changes which have been crossing Arab societies in the past decade.

During this roundtable, Dr. Michele Scala will present the Centre for Social Sciences Research & Action ongoing work on social protection in Lebanon, analysing the articulation of intersectional discriminations and privileges of the current social protection framework, and proposing ways forward for reform. وقعت الجمعية اللبنانية للمبادرة والتنمية إتفاقية مذكرة تعاون مع المنظمة الدولية للعمل التطوعي IOV، افتراضياً عبر تطبيق ZOOM، بحضور أعضاء مجلس إدارة المنظّمة والهيئة الإدارية للجمعية ورؤساء اللجان.

افتتحت المنظمة الدولية للعمل التطوعي مهرجان الشباب العربي للتطوّع، إفتراضياً عبر منصة Zoom، بمشاركة ممثلين عن (22) دولة عربية وأجنبية. حملت النسخة الثانية من المهرجان إسم دورة المرحومة "علياء السكسك".. تحت شعار "لننشر معاً ثقافة التطوّع".. وكانت الجمعية اللبنانية للمبادرة والتنمية من ضمن شركاء نجاح المهرجان، الذي يستمر في الفترة من 08 إلى 11 حزيران ..
