We are looking for a skilled HR and Admin Officer who will support in recruitment, assess capacity building needs for team, managing procedures and other tasks related to the NGO human resources to make the organization a better place to work.
He/ she will be also providing administrative support to an organization including managing the daily tasks of the organization and organizing company records.
Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, CV screening and managing the hiring process
- Conduct the induction of new recruits and assist in induction program elaboration
- Resolving disputes between employees in the workplace and manage complaints
- Creating team building activities, events and holidays based on needs assessment
- Explaining benefit packages and resources
- Elaborating contracts and following up on timesheets
- Assist in performance management processes
- Updates of payroll and following up with Finance departments on related tasks
- Manage & track holiday request
- Implementing HR initiatives including health, volunteer and providing resources
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
- Arrange travel and accommodations, schedule in-house and external events
- Receiving and processing communication channels, including email, phone, and physical mail
- Creating reports and memos as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organization, time management and scheduling skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- BSc/BA in HR, business administration, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
