Request for Proposals – Awareness Trainer on Gender Equality and GBV (TechGirls)

Donia for Sustainable Development seeks to contract a qualified trainer to implement a series of awareness workshops for adolescent girls and their parents addressing the following topics:

  • Gender equality
  • Gender-based violence (GBV)
  • Economic and educational rights

The workshops are part of the TechGirls project, which targets girls who are students or have dropped out of formal education in marginalized areas of Tripoli.

Scope of Work

  • Deliver 3 awareness workshops for girls (20 participants per workshop)
  • Deliver 3 awareness workshops for parents (20 participants per workshop)
  • Prepare session plans and interactive training materials
  • Administer pre- and post-session evaluation tools
  • Submit a final report summarizing outcomes and recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in training on gender equality, GBV, and girls' rights
  • Ability to facilitate interaction in clear Arabic, English is a plus
  • Familiarity with the local context in Tripoli and marginalized communities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality standards
  • Preferably with experience working in NGO or donor-funded projects
