The recent escalation of hostilities across Asia and the Middle East has led to a marked deterioration in the humanitarian situation. The affected areas already host 24.6 million forcibly displaced people, many of whom already face significant protection risks and humanitarian needs, alongside host communities.

This report is produced by Inter-sector Coordination Group in collaboration with humanitarian partners. It covers the period from 15 October – 15 November. These reports are issued on monthly basis with the next report scheduled to be published around 15 December.

This report provides an overview of entry and exit movements by air, land, and sea. It captures the movements for Lebanese, Syrian, and other nationalities. Between 17 October and 24 October 2025, a total of 223,226 movements were recorded across 10 (out of 16) official border crossing points (BCPs) and unofficial crossing areas.

This innovative project aims to empower youth organizations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by harnessing the power of cinema to foster political and democratic engagement among young people.

A4EP, a global alliance of Southern organisations, the 63rd and the newest signatory,  will ensure GB policy discourses remain centred on affected populations and informed  by the experiences of local actors to strengthen effective, efficient and timely  responses through a nexus approach. A4EP commits to working together with  international actors to address the barriers in establishing equitable partnerships with  local actors. We will work with others to ensure distributive and collaborative decision 
making in the global governance of the Grand Bargain and at the country level.

جمعت القمة العالمية للعمل الإنساني التي عُقدت في أيار/مايو 2016، 9 آلاف مشاركة ومشارك قدِموا من 180 دولة من الأعضاء، بما في ذلك 55 من رؤساء الدول والحكومات، و700 منظمة غير حكومية ومنظمة مجتمع مدني؛ منها 350 منظمة محلية و250 دولية، إضافة إلى 350 ممثلاً من القطاع الخاص، و130 ممثلاً من وكالات الأمم المتحدة وصناديقها وبرامجها وغيرهم من الجهات المعنية، بما في ذلك الأوساط الأكاديمية، والقادة الدينيون، ووسائل الإعلام. وجاءت القمة تتويجاً لعملية طويلة شاركت فيها العديد من الجهات المعنية، واستغرقت قرابة العامين كما كلّفت ملايين الدولارات.

The May 2016 World Humanitarian Summit brought together 9,000 participants. They came from 180
Member States, included 55 Heads of State and Government, 700 NGOs and CSOs, of which 350 national and
local ones, and 250 international ones, 350 representatives of the private sector, 130 representatives of the
UN agencies, funds and programmes and other stakeholders including academia, faith-based leaders, and
media. It was a culmination of an almost a two-years long multi-stakeholder process, costing millions of
dollars.

The World Humanitarian Summit(WHS) consultation process opened the space for voices of local and national actors about their experience of the global humanitarian system and its impact locally. As part of the preparations for the WHS in 2016, the High-Level Panel on Humanitarian Financing sought solutions to close the humanitarian financing gap. Their report made recommendations to shrink the needs, deepen and broaden the resource base for humanitarian action, and to improve delivery.
