A specialized surgical team from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) experienced in war injuries has been deployed to a hospital in southern Beirut to offer life-saving care and help relieve exhausted medical staff.

Depuis l’escalade des hostilités entre Israël et le Liban le 17 septembre 2024, l’OMS a recensé 23 attaques visant les services de santé au Liban, qui ont fait 72 morts et 43 blessés parmi les soignants et les patients.

Une équipe chirurgicale spécialisée du Comité international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR) ayant l’expérience des blessures de guerre a été déployée dans un hôpital du sud de Beyrouth afin de prodiguer des soins vitaux et de soulager le personnel médical épuisé.

Beirut (CICR) – El Comité Internacional de la Cruz Roja (CICR) envió a un equipo especializado en cirugía y con experiencia en heridas de guerra a un hospital del sur de Beirut para que preste asistencia vital y ayude a aliviar al extenuado personal de salud.

عمِلَت وزارة العمل بشكل غير علني وبالتعاون مع أصحاب مكاتب استقدام العاملات في الخدمة المنزلية على مسودّة عقد العمل الموحَّد الخاص بتنظيم العمل المنزلي للعاملات المهاجرات في لبنان، مستبعدين من النقاشات العاملات والجمعيات المختصّة المعنية. بعد الاطّلاع على المسودة، نعتبر أنّ هذه الخطوة هي سقطة موصوفة، تنتهك حقوق الإنسان البديهية لصالح حفنة من أصحاب المصالح المادية و”التجّار“ المتمثّلين بمكاتب استقدام العاملات المهاجرات إلى لبنان.

The Ministry of Labor has worked covertly, in coordination with owners of recruitment agencies, on a draft Standard Unified Contract and has excluded from the discussions the domestic workers and the NGOs who have a long experience in this context.
