Findings from the Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS) indicate that while overall reported incidents declined significantly in March 2026 compared to February, the nature and severity of risks reported by survivors remain deeply concerning.
The humanitarian situation in Lebanon remained fragile and volatile, with developments during the reporting period further undermining prospects for civilian protection, safe and sustained returns, and unimpeded humanitarian access.
Across Lebanon, women and girls navigate continued displacement, loss, and returns home – often multiple times – as uncertainty remains part of daily life.
Since 2 March, an estimated 620,000 women and girls have been forced to flee their homes.This represents nearly one quarter of all women and girls in Lebanon, and more than half of those displaced – including Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, and migrant communities.
Medrar Foundation organized an awareness session titled “Parenting in Times of Challenges: Balancing Firmness and Emotional Support” at the Al-Masaken Al-Shaabiyya in Tyre. The session brought together local women for an engaging discussion led by Mrs. Batoul Moussa, with the participation of psychotherapist Mrs. Layla Reda Safieddine, founder of Layla Center. Participants received symbolic gifts as a gesture of appreciation.
Through these interventions, Oxfam has positioned itself as a key actor addressing SRHR priorities in the country, and has forged critical partnerships with service-providers, academic institutions, national and sub-national institutions, local civil society actors, informal grassroots groups and young activists, and feminist, queer 4 and women’s rights organisations working on the same issues.
Mental Health Matters – Awareness Program by Medrar Foundation and LAU Civic Engagement Students
In partnership with the Lebanese American University (LAU) Civic Engagement Students, Medrar Foundation launched a community initiative titled “Mental Health Matters.” The program aimed to break the stigma surrounding mental health in Lebanon and to equip individuals—especially youth and parents—with practical coping tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional distress during economic and social hardships.
In collaboration with the Lebanese American University’s Civic Engagement students, Medrar Foundation launched an awareness program titled “Health on a Budget”, aimed at educating communities on how to maintain and improve their health through affordable and practical approaches.

تحت شعار "ابتسامتهم تصنع مستقبلاً أفضل" وفي باكورة أنشطتها، نظمت جمعية "We Are Lebanon" إفطارًا خيريًا ترفيهياً للأطفال في مركز "روك أند رول" في صيدا بمشاركة نحو 150 طفلاً من جمعيتي " أهلنا" و"رعاية اليتيم " في صيدا وتحت اشراف 35 متطوعة.
وسبق الإفطار ورافقه عرضٌ ترفيهي وأنشطة تفاعلية ورسم وتلوين على الوجوه ومسابقات بمشاركة الشخصية الكرتونية الشهيرة ميكي ماوس وشخصية " المهرج " وعرض الفقاعات "bubble show".
وبحسب القيمين على هذه الأنشطة ، فإنها تهدف لأن يعيش الأطفال بهجة العيد ولدعم صحتهم النفسية ومدهم بالطاقة الإيجابية في خضم ما يشهده لبنان من أزمات.

عمِلَت وزارة العمل بشكل غير علني وبالتعاون مع أصحاب مكاتب استقدام العاملات في الخدمة المنزلية على مسودّة عقد العمل الموحَّد الخاص بتنظيم العمل المنزلي للعاملات المهاجرات في لبنان، مستبعدين من النقاشات العاملات والجمعيات المختصّة المعنية. بعد الاطّلاع على المسودة، نعتبر أنّ هذه الخطوة هي سقطة موصوفة، تنتهك حقوق الإنسان البديهية لصالح حفنة من أصحاب المصالح المادية و”التجّار“ المتمثّلين بمكاتب استقدام العاملات المهاجرات إلى لبنان.
