Beirut, Lebanon – The National Council for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (NCEI) proudly announces its endorsement of the NamaRelief.com initiative, mandating it as a key platform for all socialpreneur relief actions.

The current crisis is exacerbating long-term vulnerabilities, reversing previous development gains, and leading to increasingly visible humanitarian needs among the most vulnerable people.

Since October 2023, over 10,200 attacks have occurred along the Blue Line, resulting in substantial casualties. More than one million people have been directly affected and/or displaced across Lebanon, with nearly 160,000 in over 850 collective shelters, often in public facilities like schools and agricultural centers.

Global Economic Freedom up Slightly

Lebanon Ranks 78 Among 159 Countries

Beirut, Lebanon – Lebanon ranks 78 out of 159 countries and territories included in the latest Economic Freedom of the World: 2017 Annual Report, released on the 25th of September by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in conjunction with Canada’s Fraser Institute. The report is based on data collected from 2015 and measures the economic freedom levels of 159 countries and territories.
