UNDP Strengthening Civil Peace in Lebanon Project has been supporting the process of the establishment of a national civil society platform on civil peace since 2011, consisting of 10 national organizations,taking into account past experiences and emerging lessons learnt.

This national survey provides a vital statistical database on the demographic and the educational status in Lebanon; the residential fact and the economic activity of the individuals; the health insurance, the migration, the family’s income and the aid received during the war
“Moukhtar” booklet provides guidelines for municipality leaders and mayors, on how to effectively implement practices and procedures that would benefit the local community, whether in regular daily activities or in conflict situations.
The forum was held less than two months after 9/11. The forum included general discussions as well as teach-ins on specific issues related to globalization, the WTO, and the challenges in the Arab world under the current world order.
