مذكرات للباحثين وصناع القرار #10 | أيار 2011  (EMR) البحوث المتعلقة بالصحة وتغير المناخ في إقليم الشرق المتوسطريما ر. حبيب من المرجح أن يؤدي تغير المناخ إلى تفاقم عبء المرض في المنطقة العربية التي تعاني حالياً من عدم الاستقرار السياسي والكوارث الطبيعية والازمات الانسانية. كما أن البيئة القاحلة السائدة والاعتماد على الزراعة البعلية في الانتاج الغذائي يفاقمان الوضع. ولذلك، على الحكومات وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيني تخصيص المزيد من الاموال من أجل التصدي للتحديات الجديدة والمتزايدة التي تواجه صحة السكان

 مذكرات للباحثين وصناع القرار#6 | أيار 2011 تقرير المنتدى العربي للبيئة والتنمية في مجال المياه لسنة 2010جاد شعبان و سهيل عبود  كشف المنتدى العربي للبيئة والتنمية عن وجود سوء إدارة للمياه في جميع أنحاء العالم العربي، مبا في ذلك، وغير مقتصر حصريا على نقص موارد المياه العذبة في العالم العربي على سبيل المثال. وكون 13 دولة عربية من أكثر البلدان التي تعاني من ندرة اللياه في العالم في الوقت الراهن وانخفاض متوسط توافر اللياه العذبة بحلول عام 2015 إلى أقل من 500 متر مكعب سنوياً وهذا ما يعرف بالاجهاد المائي الحاد وبقاء دولتين فقط هما العراق والسودان فوق خط ندرة المياه بحلول عام 2025

تقرير | كانون الثاني 2011 مشروع الدراسة الوطنية الاقتصادية والبيئية والإنمائية لتغير المناخ (NEEDS) (التقرير النهائي) نديم فرج الله  ماركوس ماركتانر ليلى داغر و فيليب زغيب أصبح تغير المناخ واقعا مقبولا وتم تسجيل تأثرياته وتوثيقها في جميع أنحاء العالم. فقد سجل مركز أبحاث الأوبئة الناجمة عن الكوارث (CRED) في بلجيكا 39 كارثة مناخية لغربي آسيا منذ عام 1969. وتم تسجيل 12 كارثة في عام 2000 ّ وحده.
