For the last six years, Lebanon has been at the forefront of one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time.

The conflict in Syria continues to drive the largest refugee crisis in the world. Over 5.3 million Syrians are registered as refugees in neighbouring countries as of 1 December 2017.

In what follows we propose the establishment of a network concerned with the encouragement of public participation in reconstruction.

The proposal is to build a network from existing institutions and bodies already present on the ground with SAMIDOUN, and to build social centers working on various identified issues.
