Months after the war, the Gaza Strip remains a disaster zone. Families are in despair, as hundresds of them had their homes totally destroyed and do not have proper shelter to endure Gaza's conditions.

In what follows we propose the establishment of a network concerned with the encouragement of public participation in reconstruction.

The proposal is to build a network from existing institutions and bodies already present on the ground with SAMIDOUN, and to build social centers working on various identified issues.
