Generic responsibilities   Ensure proper installation related to water, and sanitation Perform transect-walks together with WASH focal points / community members Report activities using Kobo online activity reporting and related paper forms Engage with WASH/CSMC focal points when implementing activities in settlements Ensure referrals are communicated back via the official NRC channels Suggest improvements in work flow/approach ensuring increased quality and cost effectiveness of the implementation. Facilitate registration, administration and management of daily labourers. Support the WASH team during assessments   Specific responsibilities   Construction of latrines, septic tanks, small water networks, sewage connections, hand washing stations, water tanks, soak away pits, infiltration trenches, communal septic tanks, latrine rehabilitation, and similar activities.   Critical interfaces By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are: CSMC: Ensure WASH-CSMC focal points are included in the site activities. Make sure referrals are dealt with according to NRC referrals SOPs.   1.      Competencies Competencies are important in order for the employee and the organisation to deliver desired results.
