This session aims to provide an informal space for discussing the relationship of (in)visible identification (as women, men, LGBT, queer) to the types of political action possible. As such, we aim to discuss how visibility functions politically in Beirut, and how does its gendered manifestation shape the ways in which we choose our political strategies and do politics. Angels of Spring is a play performed by the Children from Chatila camp. The play was created to raise funds from humanitarian to educational aid for Syrian refugee children staying in Chatila camps in Lebanon as well help the children develop while taking their minds of the misery and devastation that surrounds them as refugees and affected them before leaving their homes.
