From 12th to 17th of november will stand in cinemas of Beirut, Tripoli, Tyre, Saida and Zahleh the 2d edition of Cultural Resistance International Film Festival. On an initiative of Jocelyne Saab, lebanese filmmaker, the event proposes to question history, war, memory, youth and women rights in Lebanon through a serie of films from Asia and Mediterranean. Almost 40 feature films, documentaries, comedies, tragedies, experimental or classical films are gathered around these issues to encourage everyone to think about the meaning of his condition.

We are excited to introduce to you a selection of 184 images taken by 92 young photographers aged 12 to 16. 46 Syrian refugee kids and 46 Lebanese youth, working together, bring us these images as visual testimonies of their daily lives in Wadi Khaled.
Wadi Khaled region has been the first destination with 5,000 Syrian refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria in its earlier stages in April 2013. Today Wadi Khaled's population has doubled with around 30,000 Lebanese inhabitants and around 28,000 Syrian refugees. Youth is especially vulnerable in this region.
