Lebanon of Tomorrow recently organized an Iftar event for Dar Al Aytam Al Islamia, a charitable organization that provides care for orphans in Lebanon. The event aimed to bring happiness and comfort to the orphans during the holy month of Ramadan. Lebanon of Tomorrow prepared a delicious dinner, including salads and desserts, to be distributed to all the orphans at Dar Al Aytam Al Islamia. This event provided an opportunity for the orphans to come together and enjoy a special meal.

The first session of this webinar cycle will present and discuss the research of Dr. Leyla Dakhli on the “Bread Riots” that broke out in Tunisia on 28 December 1983, in the wake of World Bank-sponsored programmes. This movement lasted barely ten days, yet cost the lives of over one hundred people.
