This webinar aims to address vaccine inequity in the MENA region, and will look into challenges specific to local contexts.

The webinar aims at discussing social justice and social contracts in the Middle East, a region that is also witnessing one of the largest-scale displacements in history. It will reflect on aid interventions, by exploring the formulation of (new) social contracts, based on greater social inclusion of non-nationals, for the provision of social justice for all.

تهدف هذه الندوة إلى تسليط الضوء على تجارب وتحدّيات سياقية مختلفة تواجهها بلدان المنطقة، مع التركيز على الجهد المشترك الذي يمكن أن تبذله المجتمعات المدنية والاختصاصيون/ات والخبراء/خبيرات والناشطون/ات للدفع باتّجاه إرساء نهج قائم على الحقوق في جدول أعمال السياسة العامّة.

The objective of the webinar is to shed light on various contextual experience and challenges countries of the region are facing, and how civil society actors, scholars, experts and activists, can jointly push forward a right based narrative and policy agenda.

كيف يمكننا تغيير الأسلوب القديم في جلسات التدريب والانتقال إلى فعاليات أكثر استدامة؟ ما هو النموذج الذي يجب اعتماده؟ ما هي العقبات والعوامل المساعدة لنجاح المؤسسات؟ ستجيب عبير غطاس، وهي ناشطة لبنانية، ومتخصّصة في مجال الاتصالات الرقمية وتقنية المعلومات، عن هذه السئلة وتناقش مفهوم أمن المؤسسات، وكيفية التدّرب عليه، وكيف يمكن استخدامه داخل مؤسساتنا.

Through this experimental exchange we want to bring those together who drive or support participatory change processes, conflict transformation, and empowerment in communities.
