LEB-CAAP is organizing an event that is specifically designed for local CSOs in Lebanon that are either youth-serving (with a primary mandate to support youth) or youth-focused (with programs targeting youth as a primary group). Our goal is to gather organizations committed to youth empowerment and provide a space for exchange and learning to enhance their programming.

Join us for a townhall discussion on solar energy and the Decentralized Renewable Energy Law in Lebanon. The discussion will center on the law and how it should be implemented and regulated. It will be held in the Rotana Gefinor Hotel from 11am until 1pm on Monday the 24 of June. The Palestinian Association for Human Rights (Witness) held a legal seminar entitled: “A Legal Analysis of Administrative Detention and Enforced Disappearance Amidst War” on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Al Saha Hotel in Beirut. عقدت المؤسسة الفلسطينية لحقوق الإنسان (شاهد) ندوة قانونية تحت عنوان: "تحليل قانوني للاعتقال الإداري والاخفاء القسري في ظلّ الحرب" وذلك يوم الخميس الموافق 25\4\2024 في فندق الساحة في مدينة بيروت. تضمّنت الندوة التي استمرت لثلاث ساعات وامتدت على مدار جلستين من خلال تقديم أوراق، مداخلات، ونقاشات حول عناوين أساسية مطروحة حول ملف الأسرى الفلسطينيين في ظل الحرب المستمرة على قطاع غزة، وذلك بمشاركة نخبة من الأكاديميين والمختصين في الشأن القانوني والحقوقي، إضافة إلى نشطاء حقوقيين وممثلين عن جامعات لبنانية ومنظمات غير حكومية واتحاد المحامين العرب واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر.
