The Security Management for Humanitarians training will be delivered through a combination of live facilitated sessions, group forums and engaging activities using multiple purpose-built training platforms. Lebanon of Tomorrow recently organized an Iftar event in partnership with Dar El Aajaza, a charity organization that provides care for the elderly. The event aimed to bring joy and comfort to the elderly during the holy month of Ramadan. The organization prepared a delicious dinner, including salads and desserts, to be distributed to all the elderly residents at Dar El Aajaza. This event provided an opportunity for the elderly to socialize and enjoy a special meal.

Lebanon of Tomorrow recently organized an Iftar event for Dar Al Aytam Al Islamia, a charitable organization that provides care for orphans in Lebanon. The event aimed to bring happiness and comfort to the orphans during the holy month of Ramadan. Lebanon of Tomorrow prepared a delicious dinner, including salads and desserts, to be distributed to all the orphans at Dar Al Aytam Al Islamia. This event provided an opportunity for the orphans to come together and enjoy a special meal.

The organization distributed Maamoul, a traditional Lebanese pastry, on all the roads of Ashrafieh. The EU-funded Integrated Border Management Projects (EUIBMLBN3) is inviting local organizations and businesses across different sectors to contribute and shape the “Integrated National Maritime Strategy of Lebanon”.  A series of consultation sessions will result in their contribution feeding into the Lebanese National Maritime Strategy that will serve the country.

In this 4-hour online session you can learn about preparing and facilitating a dialogue between two people, helping them to really listen to and understand each other and identifying actions they can take. You will learn how to prepare yourself so you can be equally supporting both sides, and to create a safe space for them to have a dialogue that is not about blame and defensiveness, but about really understanding the needs of both. You will have the opportunity to practice your new learned skills and to reflect on challenges you might have faced when you tried to facilitate or mediate before...

In this 3-hour online-session we will focus on our own feelings and needs. We will try to understand what keeps us from addressing the person and why we might not be able to just close this chapter. We can learn how to deal with our emotions involved and get clarity about our needs and next steps. This session can give us insights that make it much easier to approach the other person. Or it might even happen that after this session you don’t feel the need to address the issue with the other person anymore because you have ‘sorted this out’ in yourself.
