World Vision Lebanon is looking for a short term professional expert to develop a screen play, create characters and perform a puppet show as part of an awareness campaign on inclusion, education and disability with the collaboration of the children project beneficiaries. The show will be held in three Palestinian Camps across Lebanon (North Lebanon, Beirut and Tyre), on three different days.
Shows will be performed with audiences primarily aged 6 to 12. The show duration should be of 60 minutes, followed by an audience question-and-answer period with the characters of the show. The show will run from October 9, 2015 to October 23, 2015, and reach a minimum of 350 children while not exceeding 3 total performances.
The Contractor will develop a screen play, characters and perform a puppet show as part of an awareness campaign the two year inclusion project New Education Perspectives for Children with Special Learning is planning. The puppet show should be in Arabic and simple language is to be used. The puppet show will send clear messages on acceptance of children with disabilities, non- discrimination and the importance of inclusion in education. The puppet show will be held in North Lebanon, Beirut and Tyr, possibly in Palestinian camps. The show should be interactive to include audience participation as much as possible.
