Job type: Consultancy Term of reference for community based rehabilitation (CBR) approach trainer The trainer should have the academic background and experience to offer four training days on “Guideline training for social workers and KG teachers” this training should cover the following topics: What are the techniques of needs assessment? How to communicate with the people with disabilities and their parents using empathy and the non-judgmental communication. What is the community based rehabilitation approach, goals, why and how it has to operate? How to target beneficiaries and other stakeholders (community leaders, local and international NGO’s…) in the CBRC and what is their role? What are the basics of case management approach and how to activate the referral system in a CBRC? What are the main topics needed for awareness sessions What is the role of rehabilitation worker How to mobilize the community. How to increase employment and enhance the independence in the CBRA. How to enhance the participation of people with disabilities and their families in the project designation, implementation monitoring and evaluation phases. How to implement proper evaluation and monitoring activities for both results and outcomes and what are the tools to be used.
