CALL FOR TENDER Construction of New Ground Reservoirs in Machha & Hayzouq Villages with the Relevant Pipelines Connections Ref: AN/ITB LB/2016/01/005 Dear Sir/ Madam, arche noVa e.V. is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization based in Dresden, Germany. In Lebanon, arche noVa e.V. is currently working on strengthening the resilience of local Syrian and Lebanese groups by improved access to clean drinking water, improved hygiene conditions through a community- based conflict sensitive approach. arche noVa e.V. currently through its local partners Tankamel Sawa and DPNA is implementing rehabilitation projects in North Lebanon region in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector and herewith invite you to submit a bit to this call for tenders under the following reference number: arche noVa e.v invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following works: “Construction of New Ground Reservoirs in Machha & Hayzouq Villages With the Relevant Pipelines Connections”. The project consists of the construction of various water supply works in Akkar that is under the jurisdiction of North Lebanon Water and Wastewater Establishment. Water supply works include: 1) Construction of a reinforced concrete circular water tank of capacity 1,000 cu.m. in Machha with the relevant valve chamber and all connections between the new tank and the existing tank and between the new tank and the existing transmission and distribution pipelines. 2) Construction of a reinforced concrete circular water tank of capacity 500 cu.m. in Hayzouq with the relevant valve chamber and the connection between the new tank and the existing transmission and distribution pipelines. This invitation to bid is open to all Contractors who meet the qualification requirements listed in the Bidding Data Sheet included in the Tender Documents. Please visit us in our office to collect the CD with all the files in softcopy Only Registered and classified companies within the Ministry of Energy and Water are considered The evaluation of the tenderers will be based on the following: Experience of the tenderer in similar work (list of similar activities), time of implementation, site visit participation, recommendation letters, company profile, quality of filling out the tender documents, the quality of the submittals etc Financial offers which exceed or underprice the fair market estimated costs will be excluded from further evaluation Offers which exceed or undermatch our estimated time of implementation will be excluded from the tender. The set deadline for finishing the construction work is 15 April 2017. To be qualified for the current Bid, Bidders must meet the following criteria: A Bank certificate for access to liquid assets and/or evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities of not less than 50,000 USD (Fifty Thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent sufficient to meet the construction cash flow for the above contract for a period of 4 (Four) months. The bidder is requested to submit an original bank certificate according to the attached Form; Average Annual Turnover in construction works of average 100,000 USD (One Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent over the past 3 years. The Bidder is requested to complete the attached qualification form 1 signed by a certified accountant and provide legally certified copies of original auditor’s reports; General experience of a minimum of 1 year in the construction of public works projects. The Bidder must provide evidence showing the required number of years and is requested to complete the attached qualification form 2. Particular experience within the past 3 years in the construction of at least One Water Supply Project which includes the construction of water tanks and the installation of pipelines.
