Toubia Aoun Downtown Beirut, Lebanon Dear Sir/Madam: World Learning’s Leaders for Democracy Fellowship (LDF) Program invites submission of quotations from Travel Agencies interested in and able to provide exemplary customer service and detailed communication booking international flights for participants traveling under the auspices of U.S. Government funded programs. World Learning is a nonprofit international development and exchange organization that is responsible to its primary funders (U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development) for procuring and booking flights for international participants funded under U.S. Government grants and contracts. World Learning reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submission process. World Learning’s acceptance of a quotations will not bind World Learning to purchase a minimum amount of services from the Vendor. Rather, World Learning intends to confer Preferred Vendor status with the selected Vendor and to enter a Basic Purchasing Agreement with the Vendor. World Learning’s Leaders for Democracy fellowship program is a MEPI funded program that strives to provide emerging and mid-career civic leaders from the Middle East and North Africa with the opportunity to complete an academic training at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and gain relevant professional experience within a practicum host organization in Beirut, Lebanon. You are invited to participate in the RFQ process by submitting your best price offer on the Bid Form provided. The RFQ details and instructions for submission of offers is found on the bid form attached. Submitting Offers Interested Travel Agencies are requested to email ldfprocurement@worldlearning.org requesting to receive the official RFQ and the Bid form needed. Quotations in response to the RFQ for Travel Agency 2016-2017 can be emailed to ldfprocurement@worldlearning.org . It is mandatory that submissions be received before 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016. Submissions should include a brief description of the Travel Agency’s services, its website link, the point-of-contact, and demonstrate the capability and willingness to perform the Required Services, listed in the Attached Bid Form.
