CONCERN Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing suffering and ending extreme poverty. INVITATION to bid for provision of consultancy services to upgrade a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Kobayyat funded through UNICEF. Consultants who have the necessary resources, experience and indemnity insurance cover are invited to tender for the project . Consultants who wish to bid for the consultancy, shall first advise CONCERN of its Expression of Interest . . The scope of input for the proposed consultancy is as defined hereunder : An assessment of the existing structure to determine any structural deficiencies in the concrete tanks and deficiencies in the mechanical and electrical systems Identify spare capacity within the existing WWTP ( present usage is 9,000 EI ) Establish if the capacity of the WWTP has to be increased to provide an additional 2,700 Provide for treating 9 cubic meter per day of sludge remove from nearby informal settlements .
