The International Medical Corps (IMC) & ABAAD-Resource Center for Gender Equality are planning to conduct a two-full day’s workshop on CCSAS (16 hours) over June 13 & 14, 2013 in Beqaa area (Venue TBD).
The workshop aims at strengthening the capacities and improving the quality of clinical care for sexual assault survivors among Syrian refugees’ population.
The training will be introducing the participants to the CCSAS pathway, different stages of direct patient care, how to prepare the clinic and conduct the forensic evidence collection.
The training is geared toward PHC staff (Forensic doctors, GYN/OBS doctors, midwives, nurses and medical social workers) fulfilling the following requirements:
Operating in Beqaa; Working in a hospital or Health Care facility; Working with refugee population.

Participant Questionnaires will be screened by an expert committee – including IMC and ABAAD members and the expert trainer to determine eligibility to participation.
