Work Context:
Sonbola is a startup grassroots NGO that focuses on delivering educational programs, specifically to fill the gaps of Syria’s education crisis and address the education of Syrian refugee children and youth, with a special focus on quality and sustainability.
Position Purpose:
The overall purpose of the M&E Officer position is to efficiently handle all data collection, analysis, and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all activities implemented for Sonbola programs.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of the needs assessment and M&E field activities;
Provide technical and methodological support in the development of M&E plan and the management of relevant tools;
Ensure that the data are properly collected and available for analysis, reporting and future strategic orientations;
Ensure staff at all levels of program implementation are trained and prepared to fulfill their roles in reporting;
Produce timely M&E and assessment reports including decision oriented information and recommendations;
Ensure the flexibility and adaptability of the monitoring process and tools to integrate amendments to the projects and context evolution;
Contribute to other necessary reports upon request from the executive director
Work within the frame of the set M&E strategy respecting all the indicators profile and the tools designed.
