Early Childhood Education (Ece) Part time Teacher (2 hours/day ) Ayta El Fokhar

Job purpose The typical responsibilities of the Early Childhood Education Teacher include teaching, student management, administrative tasks and extracurricular activities.  He/ she plans, organizes and implements an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages children to develop and fulfill their social, emotional, cognitive, physical and artistic potentials.                                        Duties and responsibilities An Early Childhood Education teacher duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the the following: Preparing classroom for class activities to ensure healthy transition between learning centers. Planning, preparing and communicating clear objectives to all children in order to facilitate active learning experiences through play within learning centers. Differentiating instructional methods and resources to meet children's varying needs. Providing a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Providing appropriate and constructive feedback on accomplished work to the child. Observing and assessing student's performance and development. Recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of each child. Managing child behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing clear rules and procedures. Performing certain pastoral duties including student support, counseling children with academic and behavior problems and providing student encouragement. Participating in the parent and team meetings. Nurturing a culture of learning and reflective practice. Qualifications Degree in Education, or Early Childhood Education Diploma. Previous experience in teaching, preferable in Early Childhood Education. Willingness to work with children who have experienced trauma or are children with specific needs.  Have an outgoing and caring personality. Self-motivator A team worker. A multitask individual. Critical thinker (verbal and written critical thinking). Stress tolerance. Flexible and adaptable. Patient and good listener.
