Teacher (Kindergarten Level)

General objective of the job: The main purpose of the position is to provide French, Math, science and Arabic classes as well as psychosocial/ recreational activities for out of school children aged between 4 – 5 years old in a non -formal Learning Center. Teaching is given in French and Arabic.   Main Job Responsibilities: Manage and educate groups of children ages 4 to 5 according to provided curriculum Prepare yearly and weekly lesson plan and submit them to the supervisor Use exciting methods and instructional materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays and classroom exhibit Ensuring strict adherence to ADRA Lebanon Child Protection Policies at all times, including respect for confidentiality and child centred approach, acting in the best interests of the child Implement psychosocial/ recreational activities and school outings Keep activity records in an organized way Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers Work effectively with team members. Perform other duties of a similar nature as requested.   Qualifications: Required: Diploma in Teaching or a relevant field Experience of teaching at Kindergarten level Skilled at using basic computer programs  Preferred: Experience working with refugee population   Languages: Arabic: Fluent                        French: Very Good
