Prosthetics And Orthotics Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities -          Interview patients and evaluate different cases, determining their needs -          Measure patients in order to design and fit prosthetics and corrective devices -          Design prosthetic and corrective devices based on physicians' prescriptions -          Take necessary molds of the concerned part of the patient’s body that will be fitted with a prosthetic or corrective device -          Select materials to be used for the production of prosthetic and corrective devices -          Fit, test, and adjust devices on patients -          Instruct patients on the use and maintenance of their devices -          Repair or update prosthetic and corrective devices -          Manage orthotic and prosthetic devices and materials stock -          Work closely with the department’s team and LWAH’s medical director and update patients’ medical records   Requirements and Qualifications -          University Degree in orthotics and prosthetics -          Minimum 3 years’ experience in a prosthetics and corrective devices workshop or facility -          Excellent up-to-date knowledge about different orthotic and prosthetic devices and materials -          Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team   Interested and qualified candidates please send your CV to lwah@lwah.org.lb
