Human Rights And Protection Coordinator (Local Position)

Experience and knowledge: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, international relations, social sciences, and communications or in a related area. Additional years of qualifying experience may compensate for a master’s degree. A minimum of 4 years progressively responsible experience in Project Management with particular emphasis in the Human Rights field and/or protection; Extensive experience with developing and implementing Human Rights and or protection programme, particularly monitoring and evaluation; Experience and knowledge of the human rights situation in Lebanon, with special focus on Palestinian rights and women rights. Experience working in a multi-cultural and/or international work environment. Experience in proposal writing and donor reporting Experience in advocacy and/or strategic communication   Skills and special aptitudes: Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic is required. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
