Job description: -Function as IM focal person in the Mission to related with external actors/providers. -Provide technical support to automatized analysis of data serving programs efficiently in close cooridnation with Program Teams and M&E Manager. -Support in establishing a data safety prcedure in the Mission. FIELD ACTIVITY / SUBJECT Activities / Responsabilities of the function / Job Strategy and policy Support in identifying weakenesses and strenghts of the current system and work closelywith M&E Manager and the Q&A Coordinator to communicate properly the IM Missions needs to external providers  Skills required   Knowledge of policies and global strategies of Tdh and of  his/her sector     Research and development Make suggestions and participate in the development of new tools and databases to imporve the IM system in cooridnation with the external provider. Skills required   Capacity to analyse options proposed from external providers and guide proivder to answer the Organization's needs.   Capapcity to coordinate and work with other Teams.   Analytical capacity    IM background,knowledge of main softwares systems.     Personnel  management / team management Communicate and collaborate in accordance with the communication contract   Regularly communicate with his/her manager about the progress of his/her activities and problems encountered.       Be the technical IM focal person in the Mission in relation to external providers as well as to solve internal IM issues   Ensure to translate the needs of the M&E and Program team in the work done together with database providers in order to make sure that the databases serve Tdh-L purpose.    Ensure and channel the flow of information between the IM Sector in the mission and the other departments (M&E, Programs, Training Officers etc). Technical support Provide support to  M&E manager, Program managers and Program manager Assistants to analyse data starting from the ifno available as per need.   Provide technical support required by other departments in cooridnation with the line manager in relation to what is related to Information Management.    Work closely with the Q&A Coordinator and M&E manager to develop a data safety policy and regular back up system.   Provide IT support to the M&E team as needed.     Skills development Be responsible for his/her own continuing training to develop his/her skills   Identify IM training needs amond M&E team in cooridnation with M&E manager and flag other needs related to IM/IT among other teams. Skills required   Capacity to self-assess and identify his/her own needs.   Capacity to deliver training ion IM     Information / Publications / Communication / Reporting (EN) Ensure support is provided by the IM department when writing reports to M&E and Program Managers.   Collaborate closely with the Communication officer to develop communication tools from data available.
