Information Management Officer - Had - Zahle

Objective 1: Database management and supervision To participate in the design of different databases in collaboration with the MEAL and Operations teams and with technical guidelines from the IM TA; To ensure quality and accuracy of data gathered by the field teams; To translate data from Arabic into English; To enter and manage the project data and make them ready for reporting; To participate to the selection of beneficiaries in collaboration with the implementation and MEAL teams.   Objective 2. Geographical Information System To create maps upon requests, linked to data collected on the field; To monitor accuracy of data collected, ensure regular updates and solve eventual discrepancies; To train the MEAL and Operations teams; and partners on usage of GPS.   Objective 3. Internal and external reporting To provide internal reporting on activities according to HI internal tools; To prepare internal/external reports as needed; To produce high quality and timely contributions to proposals and reports   Objective 4: To demonstrate an ethic and professional practice Respect beneficiary confidentiality; Respect and promote HI’s Policies and report to your line manager any no respect of HI’s policies amongst the teams or partners; Address needs and requests in a professional way; Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others; Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers; Always respect a refusal of treatment.   Objective 5: Demonstrate willingness to improve professional competences and abilities to increase care quality Demonstrate motivation at work; Demonstrate willingness to improve own knowledge and skills by participating actively in any training sessions, capacity building activities…; Participate in the different activities that are common to all team members; Respect each team member’s positions, work, and specialty; Adapt to special situations or demands from supervisor (reporting, etc.).   Note that this job description must remain flexible, to respond to additional tasks or changes as identified by the line manager.   QUALIFICATION/ REQUIREMENTS   Distinguish mandatory and desirable requirements Educational Background and Working Experience Advanced university degree in IT, Science, Engineering or Business Solutions; A first level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be acceptable in lieu of the advanced university degree   Professional Skills required 3 years of relevant working experience in the field of Data Architecture and Data Management System implementation and development; In-depth technical knowledge in programming language Proven experience in the design and installation of a cost-efficient and secured Data Centre Solution.    Personal skills required Able to manage priorities and take initiatives; Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills Ability to work in a multicultural environment and in a multidisciplinary teamwork; Ability to work under high pressure with a great level of personal organization; Diplomacy sense; Flexibility; Team spirit; Communication skills (public presentation); Knowledge sharing/Continuous learning.   Languages English and Arabic mandatory (oral and written), French would be an asset
