Position Summary:
The administrative assistant is responsible for supporting program delivery and the organization’s functioning by performing administrative and office support activities, as well as support management to ensure that Dawlaty's policies and donor regulations are strictly followed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for all petty cash and bank payments and maintain custody of petty cash.
Maintain organization's administrative and financial files.
Draft service contracts and prepare relevant supporting documents.
Responsible for office management, including follow up with landlord, repairs, cleaning services, office supplies and stationary.
Travel booking and meeting/events /workshops arrangements.
Maintain office calendar of events, holidays, trips and meetings.
Update inventory list for Dawlaty assets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
The individual will be expected to take ownership of his/her work product and show initiative.
Ability to move freely within greater Beirut area.
