The Lebanese Women’s Democratic Gathering (RDFL) is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
RDFL and within the project "Strengthening response and prevention to gender based violence in Lebanon", supported by UNICEF, seeks to recruit a project supervisor who has experience on GBV protection and prevention, with wide experience in project management and reporting. This project will be implemented in Baalbek and neighboring villages- Qasarnaba and neighboring villages.
1) Duty station: Bekaa (Baalbek and Ksarnaba)
2) Aim: Supervision of case management and psycho-social support to women and children with a focus on gender-based violence survivors
3) Reporting lines
a) Reports to: Women Center Manager
b) Subordinates: GBV caseworkers, social workers
4) Responsibilities
Supervise GBV caseworkers and support them through the provision of technical guidance. Ensure that staff implement and respect best-practice and international standards in GBV response in coordination with the women center manager
Hold inter-agency case management meetings to refer high-risk cases when needed
Maintain positive work relationship within the team, and promote team-building efforts In coordination with the women center manager and project coordinator
Monitor case workers/social workers working hours, complete performance review with staff, ensure respect of RDFL Code of Conduct
Produce monthly reports and support the Manager in submitting internal and donor reports as per schedule
Monthly monitor of the efficient and accurate updating of the GBV case management database. Compile the data and make note of trends observed
Monthly review of open cases for regular supervision of case management
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans in a timely manner
Participate in regular supervisory meetings to ensure adherence to standards of care and appropriate case management
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, community leaders and service providers
Contribute to the maintenance of an up-to-date service mapping of the service providers operating in the area and ensure that caseworkers are informed about the available services
Receive referrals from different agencies assign and follow-up on action plans, provide feedback
Remain abreast of SOPs and best practices at the field, on the national and global level
Ensure all GBV caseworkers are familiar, practice and adhere to the IASC GBV guidelines

Essential qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
Bachelor/Degree in Social work, Counseling or other related field
NGO experience is preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times
Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
Flexibility in working overtime when needed
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Fluency in Arabic required, ability to community and write clearly in English strongly preferred
Essential experience:
At least 3-4 years of experience in counseling survivors of gender-based violence or vulnerable women and girls
