UTOPIA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to abolishing all types of social discrepancies through specialized projects and programs that rely on voluntary work, in hopes of acquiring social justice among people within the same society regardless of their political or religious beliefs.   Purpose UTOPIA’s purpose is to inspire a culture of civic awareness and equal citizenship in the Lebanese society and in Tripoli in particular to make the change we aim at achieving.   Volunteers UTOPIA relies heavily on voluntary work for achieving its mission. UTOPIA’s volunteers are the backbone of the organization and they come from all the walks of life: they include professionals as well as enthusiastic school and university students. These dedicated individuals have taken on the mission of raising civic awareness and igniting a spirit of change among the Tripolitan society.   Our Values UTOPIA Organization programs are guided by a set of core values and principles that are also shared among its members and volunteers. - Justice - Development - Equality - Citizenship - Neutrality - Volunteerism   We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who has the skills to join our organization as a Volunteer Consultant Psychologist.   Responsibilities: Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, mentoring and Psychological Assistance to protection team staff members. Identify protection team needs and contribute to the development of relevant interventions. Conduct awareness sessions with protection team. Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care. Address needs and requests in a professional way. Abide by standards of best practice, confidentiality, and informed consent. Document interventions in compliance with Utopia’s guidelines and procedures. Report daily to Project Coordinator.
