Monitoring And Evaluation (M&e) Specialist

Chemonics seeks multiple Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists for the anticipated USAID Lebanon Enterprise Development (LED) project. LED aims to increase employment opportunities for Lebanese citizens by facilitating the provision of business development services to help Lebanese firms expand, increase sales, and generate jobs. The project will increase the competitiveness and enhance the growth of Lebanese client firms, improve Lebanon's business enabling environment, and communicate results and program knowledge through outreach with the public and private sectors. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support, guidance, and oversight on monitoring and evaluation across the program. Offer technical assistance in the development, selection, and application of M&E processes and tools, and train other staff and local partners on key M&E concepts, tools, and processes. Oversee and advise colleagues on information management processes by reviewing data collection efforts, overall data reliability, consistency, and quality. Help identify, analyze, and synthesize lessons learned from program implementation and facilitate the incorporation of those lessons into the activity development cycle. Visit project locations to collect data and/or oversee data collection efforts. Job Qualifications: A minimum of three years of experience in monitoring and evaluation or a relevant field. Strong analytical skills and writing abilities. Willingness and ability to travel independently throughout the country. Proficiency with relevant statistical software desirable. Experience working with donor-funded projects is desirable. Working proficiency in written and oral Arabic and English.
