Communication and Fundraising Specialist

Major Responsibilities:

Ø Participate in the development and implementation of the communication and fundraising strategy.

Ø Write effective fundraising applications in response to calls for proposals from local or international donors.

Ø Establish strong relation with local & international donors or institutions.

Ø Create partnerships with international institutions or individuals in order to maintain an ongoing relationship.

Ø Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database.

Ø Spot fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the organization’s work

Ø Prepare continuous research aiming to find fundraising sources and opportunities.

Ø Overview the implementation of fundraising and ensure that targets are met.

Ø Promote and manage the fundraising events to increase visibility and support for the NGO as well as raising funds.

Ø Develop, support and promote the NGO goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach according to the mission and vision of the NGO.

Ø Create and develop promotional materials and tools that increase our visibility among the stakeholders.

Ø Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and bloggers that will help to promote our events and campaigns.
