Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for Action Against Hunger in more than 46 countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation. General objectives Leading the process of proposal and report writing according to the established standard procedures, and by developing the donor intelligence and communication plan of the mission. Key activities in your role will include Objective 1 : Identification, preparation and writing of proposals/reports and to be submitted to partners, following Action Against Hunger validation processes and taking in account the donor guidelines ( 50%) Objective 2 : Capacity building in proposal and report writing (Assessments, LogFrame, Theory of Change, Stakeholders Analysis, etc.); (25%) Objective 3 : Increase Action Against Hunger visibility regarding its interventions (25%) Link to the job description Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Competences Good experience in proposal writing, donor rules, validation procedures, coordination of processes. Experience in Project Cycle Management. Ability to write donor reports and proposals in excellent English. Training and capacity building experience. Communication skills: press releases, photo edition, video edition. Internet and social networks. Previous experience in similar position of at least 2 years, and in the humanitarian field (at least 3 years) Required competences : Motivation, Team work, Effective communication, Organization & Planning, Adaptability & Flexibility, Resistance to stress, Working towards Objectives, Negotiation. English (compulsory working language, spoken, read and written); Spanish (desirable); Arabic (useful) Salary and benefits We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package: Formal work contract: 6 months, renewable Base: Beirut. Salary: from 1,375 € to 1,750 € gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal Up to 20% additional remuneration depending on the position’s context and responsibilities (according the grading scale set by Action Against Hunger) House and maintenance covered by the organization (including per diem): package estimated according to the destination. Travel costs to and from the mission. 25 working days of paid leave per year. Break: additional rest period, including travel cost to a reference area and economic help of 215€. Health, repatriation, travel and life insurance covered by the organization.
