SONBOLA is seeking creative, passionate, and hard-working applicants for Internship/Volunteering Programme    Responsibilities:   Intern/Volunteer will:   • Run non-formal education activities; • Conduct awareness sessions about education or any topics; • Organize and animate cultural, technical, recreational or informational activities; • Conduct life skills trainings for youth; • Provide information to the Supervisor for daily, weekly and monthly reporting; • Suggest new ideas for the implementations of our programs (especially Taleem); • Create a safe and child-friendly atmosphere in the space; • Develop new and creative activities in the space; • Conduct field assessments and become our focal point in the refugees community; • Ensure the participation of all groups of children, especially children who are the most vulnerable; • Ensure adherence to the Child Safeguarding Policy and reporting procedures;   Please note that the complete list of responsibilities will be decided together with the applicant, based on background and skills. We are also looking for volunteers for our Summer Camp Activities in July and August. Internationals are welcome to apply.    Qualifications and Skills:   • BA (or enrollment) in Social Science, preferable in Education/Social Work, International Relations, Political Science, or related field; • Ability to run/support PSS activities; • Ability to engage with children/ adolescents from different cultural backgrounds; • Capacity to work in difficult, stressful and intensive contexts; • Good knowledge of children’s/adolescent’s rights and related matters; • Good knowledge of refugees’ issues;  • Good oral and verbal communications skills; • Computer literacy; • Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people; • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment; • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability;     Learning opportunities for the intern/ volunteer:   • Develop a strong understanding of refugee issues in the current Lebanon context; • Acquiring specific knowledge and understanding on psychosocial support activities; • Insight and hands-on experience working with refugees community, especially children; • Becoming more familiar with working in a Non-Governmental Organization;
