Programs Assistant

Employer: RET Liban Contract: Full time position Location: Beirut with frequent travels to implementation sites   JOB DESCRIPTION   The incumbent will oversee the project implementation from operational and quality achievement perspectives under the direct supervision of the National Coordinator.   The incumbent will perform the following duties:   Assist in planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions Assist in the project activity work plan and its revisions periodically as required Report the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the National Coordinator Engage in managing communications with all stakeholders Oversee the establishment of the M&E plan of the project and ensure its implementation in coordination with the National Coordinator Ensure timely preparation of reports on achievements , challenges and lessons learned Assist in recording and developing materials for operational and donor communication Ensure proper coordination with national authorities and international counterparts Assist in the development of project proposals and concept notes Perform other duties as assigned   Qualifications   Advanced University Degree (preferred) in Education, Social Sciences, or related field At least 2 years of experience in project management  Ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management and reporting Excellent organizational skills including the ability to strategically prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent writing skills, with analytical capacity and ability to synthesize project outputs and relevant findings for the preparation of quality project reports Strong communication skills Openness to change and ability to work under difficult circumstances Fluent in English and Arabic
