Overall responsibility:
The outreach assistant will be responsible of outreaching for the beneficiaries following the guidelines of the AVSI’s “Family approach”
Assignments and functions:
Work with the communities for the identification and enrollment of adolescents in the educational and vocational activities.
Conduct Field visits to the communities, ITSs and Collective shelters in cooperation with Education/Protection Field Officer to define the needs and identify new beneficiaries.
Preparation of outreach work and conduct frequent outreach visit with identified communities.
Support monitoring and evaluation activities and all activity report.
Record and maintain project specific field documents.
Assist in conducting regular assessments and producing relevant reports (including focus group discussions, questionnaires, etc.).
Carry out data collection and Survey.
Prepare field reports
Prepare and file relevant documents.
Assist in maintaining archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).
Report weekly & monthly (or more often, if required) on activities and results.
Attendance records.
Assist in conducting and preparing regular mapping of relevant services being provided.
Monitoring and supervision of transport for beneficiaries (including accompanying beneficiaries on transport).
Assist with planning work on weekly and monthly basis in accordance with work plan
Perform any other relevant duties as required.
