Summary of Position
The Program Associate works with the Lebanon country team to produce proposals, reports, program literature, and other materials. In this function, the Program Associate supports program design, administration and monitoring, providing input and feedback to the country teams to better target proposals and capture results. The position is also responsible for supervising interns, as needed. The position holder will work closely with project implementation staff, monitoring & evaluation teams, and the regional office within Search for Common Ground. The position reports to the Programme Director of Search in Lebanon.
Responsibilities
Liaise with local partners and local authorities to develop new proposals and identify best potential partners.
Follow activities on the ground in order to better plan future interventions, collect best practices and lessons learned.
Support the Country Director and Programme Director in strategic planning for the country program.
Support M&E team with preparing for evaluations and baselines, conduct case studies, develop data collection tools and analysing data.
Assist in organizing reflection days and team strategic retreats.
Organise brainstorming meetings with project staff for proposal development.
Conduct research for proposal development.
Draft donors report and progress reports.
Update context and conflict analysis to inform overall programming and strategic planning.
Support with fundraising, designing and writing of new projects’ proposals.
Assist Programme Director and Country Director in liaising with donors, partners and other relevant actors about Search–Lebanon programming and projects.

Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in related field
Familiarity with the Lebanese context and good understanding of peacebuilding and conflict transformation
Native-level written and spoken English, with superior writing skills
Proficiency in Arabic
Demonstrated experience in proposal writing and development, as well as in grants management
Ability to prepare budgets and experience with Microsoft Excel
Ability to represent projects professionally to a variety of audiences
Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-starter, able to work independently, and willing to take on tasks small and large
Ability to maintain professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm while working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
