M&e Officer - Akkar

Job Purpose The M&E Officer will develop and implement M&E strategy. The M&E Officer will handle all planning, data collection, analysis, and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all activities implemented. The M&E Officer will collaborate with the manager in reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly and final narrative reports. Additionally, s/he will replace or work with other members of the team, depending on the needs of the project.   Main Duties & Responsibilities -       Support the manager in creating a framework for the monitoring and evaluation process of project activities throughout the duration of the project; -       Daily communication with manager for data collection, management and analysis also to work on solution for any issues occurred -       Responsible for collection of the feedback and complaints -       Support in entering, organizing and compiling data collected alongside with the admin staff (needs assessment, baselines, On-Site monitoring, Post-Distribution monitoring, satisfaction surveys.. etc) -       Immediate follow up on any concerns raised from data filling or any kind of duplication with Akkarouna -       Ensure data verification and validation under the supervision prior to its submission; -       Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe, accessible way; -       Analyze and discuss findings based on regular monitoring data; -       Support the manager in providing recommendation to Akkarouna based on field needs and quantitative evidence; -       Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data among Project team; -       Identify strengths and weaknesses in existing data collection and propose solutions along with the manager; -       Ensure that the data queries and requests are addressed in an accurate and timely manner; -       Assist manager in drafting weekly and quarterly reports; -       Assist that the objective of the project is being achieved throughout tracking and monitoring the activities with the set target. -       The use of Access program is essential to apply to this position     Skills & Qualifications Min 2- 3 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience (essential) within a nonprofit Organization; Excellent verbal and written skills in Arabic and good written and spoken English. French an asset. University degree or equivalent experience especially in Master of Public Health, sociology, social sciences, political sciences Experience and knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and needs/impact assessment methods Skills in designing and implementing information management and performance measurement frameworks. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure Proven analytical and problem solving skills Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to use computer programs to collect, document and share assessment and monitoring results Demonstrated understanding of emergency response activities
