Technical Artistic

  Overall Responsibility Technical Artistic Consultant will be responsible for assisting and providing supports to the Project Coordinator and project assistant in the implementation of project activities in schools in South area.   Main Duties and Responsibilities Identify and assess the beneficiaries from students in schools to be engaged in the project activities. Design schedule of activities on weekly/ monthly basis on the activities provided to students in schools’ art clubs with all the required documents Develop and direct the skills for students and instructors using different techniques of arts, as music, theater. Provide coaching sessions for students to strengthen their clubs regarding planning, implementing activities, raise awareness and campaign on environmental issues. Assess with the Project Assistant to order the necessary tools, materials and equipment for the activities’ implementation and art clubs establishment/ improvement. Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and planning meetings with the Project Assistant and Project Coordinator. Participate in preparation and follow up meetings with the students in the schools’ clubs. Evaluating the project’s activities using several techniques and methods and gather feedback regarding project services and share information with the Project Coordinator. Maintain good relations with students, schools and other stakeholders. Ensure a strict adherence to IRL Child Protection Policy, including respect for confidentiality and act in the best interests of the child. Perform any other task as assigned by the Project Coordinator.   Child Protection Policy: Commit to respect the Islamic Relief Child Protection Policy Commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Child Protection Policy Commit to respond to any child abuse concerns following the procedures and guidelines on dealing with child’s allegation or suspicion of abuse.   Person Specifications                                                                                                                                    Experience / Education/Skills- Essential               A bachelor degree of art field (Theatre/ Music) from an accredited University. Minimum of 2-3 years of relative experience in a similar position, preferred- with NGOs/ INGOs. Experience in working with children, solid knowledge in child protection field. Experience in delivering coaching sessions, workshops and facilitate meetings. Ability To Work independently with minimal supervision. Read, comprehend and interpret written materials of moderate to complex difficulty. Records management systems (both automated and paper files) to ensure accurate maintenance of files and ease of retrieval. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. IT skills                                                                                 Experienced in MS office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting.
