§ Ensure the coordination between the departments concerned in the implementation of the activities
§ Conduct monthly meetings with the area managers, program managers and project managers to make sure that the implementation is being done properly by all concerned departments
§ Conduct field visits on a monthly basis and present a progress report To the Executive Director
§ Ensure that the activities are implemented according to the agreement with the donor in coordination with the project managers
§ Ensure that the set target is reached for all projects according to plan
§ Review all documents related to the project before submission
§ Monitor all financial aspects of the projects
§ Follow-up with the Program Managers regarding the development of their program
§ Follow-up with the area managers regarding the overall implementation of their activities
§ Suggest/develop tools to ensure the proper coordination between different projects/programs
§ Develop and establish operating policies and rules consistent with the ED’s broad policies and objectives and ensures their adequate execution
§ Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the ED
§ Motivate and lead a high performance operational team
§ Monitor the performance of the employees and determine Key Performance Indicators for every process
§ Determine operational strategies for success

MA in international development, management, Project management or other relevant field
Demonstrated expertise in participatory community-based programs, with at least 8 years of relevant and/or field-based experience including management experience
Extensive experience in designing and implementing protection or livelihood development programming in Lebanon, with an understanding of the displacement context, economic challenges, social stability and resilience mechanisms relevant to internal conflict preferred
Proven track record in staff and stakeholder training, mentoring and capacity building
Strong communication skills
Problem solving and decision making skills
