Financial Officer

Main tasks and responsibilities: -       Participating in developing, implementing and monitoring financial operations, procedures and systems of RLS -       Participating in planning and controlling budgets and financial reports related to measures implemented within the program of RLS -       Managing day-to-day operational aspects of financial management -       Maintaining and qualify of forms, data sheets, financial guidelines RLS and BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) -       Ensuring funds spent for projects according to the financial guidelines of RLS and BMZ -       Ensuring financial project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. -       Preparing, together with the Project Manager, for monitoring and evaluation procedures -       Effectively communicating of relevant information to the Director and the team of RLS and to the headquarters of RLS in Berlin -       Supporting of RLS in administrative tasks   Professional and personal requirements: -       Minimum of BA degree in financial administration, accounting, business administration -       Minimum of 2 years professional experience in financial management, book keeping and accounting, international accounting certification is an asset -       Familiar with general IT matters and software assisting finance management and project accounting -       Sharing the understandings of RLS -       Willingness to travel -       Ability to work in a small team, conduct tasks independently and professionally -       Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English; German is an asset -       Convenience in working in an international setting -       Highly motivated, self-sufficient, well-organized
