Branch Fundraising Officer - Jounieh Branch

Main Role Under the umbrella of the LRC’s 5 year strategy and as part of the pilot fundraising project 2014-2018, a local fundraising officer is required to be recruited to support increasing the fundraising capacities at the local level.  Operational Roles and Responsibilities 1.     Reporting regularly to the branch board 2.     Recruit, train, coach and motivate local fundraising volunteers as and when needed 3.     Coordinate all local fundraising activities as the branch 4.     Coordinate local fundraising activities with the national fundraising team 5.     Develop and implement a strategy for individual supporter recruitment and development 6.     Raise awareness about the work and needs of LRC at the local level 7.     Collect case studies, photographs and information from the field as needed 8.     Work with local branch to develop strategy for recruiting major and regular donors 9.     Approach individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organizations for sponsorship and donations 10.  Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters 11.  Organize traditional activities, such as sponsored outdoor events and house-to-house collections of donated goods and money 12.  Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organizing events 13.  Maintain database of all donors and donations 14.  Prepare quarterly reports to the branch board and national fundraising team 15.  Document and share lessons learned 16.  Coordinate local fundraising activities with the national fundraising team 17.  Respect and apply the national fundraising strategy, policies and procedures
