Field Coordinator

Position summary The Rene Moawad Foundation is seeking a Field Coordinator for the implementation of its Holistic Water Systems for Underserved and Refugee Host Communities in Lebanon and Jordan project. This project is being implemented in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), and 5 international partners. The Field Coordinator will be the primary contact between target beneficiaries and communities and the RMF Project Coordinator. This is a two year project, and will be based in North Lebanon, with occasional travel to Beirut for meetings.  Duties & Responsibilities Assist in identifying implementation sites for participating communities; Coordinating logistics and facilitating installation of water purification systems and additional technology and equipment; Monitoring equipment functionality; Supporting project team members in data collection; Organizing training and awareness raising sessions for target communities Collecting data on project progress and assisting in submitting progress reports to RMF Project Coordinator Ensuring proper implementation of project activities sites in accordance with projects’ work plans; Ensuring that supporting documentation for M&E is secured and accurate Coordinating and communicating with municipalities and stakeholders. Ensuring the visibility of the project Reporting all project updates and activities to the Project Coordinator Other tasks as directed by the supervisors Education and Experience At least 3 years of experience in relevant field 2-3 years experience with WASH-related projects preferred. A post-graduate degree or equivalent bachelor degree Strong experience in donors –funded projects. Experience in working with municipalities/local authorities in North Lebanon Experience reporting on project activities (required) as well as research and data collection (desired) Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus. Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills.
